Drew taught one of the kids classes on Wednesday night last week. He put so much effort into preparing that he decided to give us his lesson for family time last Thursday. He taught Daniel 12.

Canoeing on the Wapsipinicon River with Grandma and Pa.

We had a wonderful time! First we went up stream to an island then past our landing spot to an inlet down stream. Then back up to where the vans were parked. Everyone had a blast. It was really windy and I was completely worn out by the time we headed home though :)

Living Waters Bible Camp. . .
We traveled to LWBC for Sarah and Robbie's wedding (tomorrow). We did some hiking, wading and swimming today.

To culminate the reception the couple lead praise music! He on guitar, She on piano!! It brought tears to my eyes to sing praises to God with everyone dear to each of them - extremely touching. It blessed me to be able to share their day with them.

Abram had been asking for a surprise party. Cob took Abram upstairs about a half hour before the guests were scheduled to arrive and kept him busy until everyone was in the living room and I called him down. He was thoroughly surprised and a little embarrassed. He had a great Fifth Birthday thanks to good friends coming over to help celebrate.

We were thankful to get college loft cast offs! These were taken at 10:19PM - he is not faking sleep here. He did not last all night in the hammock but most of it.
