A homemade surprise from Aunt Kari

A homemade surprise from Aunt Kari

Drew's sister made us a wonderful surprise. This puppet theatre hangs by a tension rod in a doorway. When I showed the kids pictures on Aunt Kari's blog they all thought a puppet theatre would be so awesome to play with. Abigail had seen Aunt Kari put something in our van that had the same fabric as the theatre on her blog and was wondering what that could be. She was the least surprised when I brought it in the house. The puppet theatre has inspired creativity around here that is for sure!

After pulling the theatre down twice we got wise and set it up behind
the gate. Abram wailed for five minutes! Then the puppet shows
started and he was happy to sit and watch.

Snow Angels and Birthday Celebrations

Drew has an incredible Grandmother. Some time before Christmas she was bringing in her recycle bin and she fell, landing face down in the snow. She said that the snow felt so nice and cool on her face she laid there for a minute and just enjoyed it. Then she thought this might be her last opportunity to make a snow angel so she rolled over and made one right there in the back yard! Unfortunately by the time Drew was there on Christmas Eve day to bring her to our house the snow angel was buried in a fresh blanket of snow or I know he would have taken a picture of it!

We attended a 90th birthday celebration in her honor Sat. night. I have posted a few pictures from it below. I also posted some other Jan. 2008 pictures below those.

Good Night

Abigail Ione

This and That

It is Wednesday night about 9PM. I cannot believe I have been so busy not to post for a month. I know things are going to get much busier before they slack off! The two little boys are upstairs asleep. I am expecting Drew and the older three any minute home from their last night of a Bible Study on Revelation. I had an ultrasound last Monday (the 7th) and was hoping to find out if Baby A is a boy or girl but the baby was much too private and would not give the technician a definitive peek. Most of you know I normally don't have a desire to know the babies sex but in this case I think it would help me with some closure regarding Baby B. Baby B is a boy and I would like to name him before the other baby is born. I really want to name them together. Naming and knowing the sex kind of go together, especially when Drew doesn't want to name either a name that could go both ways. Otherwise I guess I could name Baby A Jesse or something whether it be a boy or a girl. Oh boy now I am rambling. Baby A looked really healthy in the ultrasound. Moving constantly, measuring right on for my June 1 due date. Thanks to all who are praying. I better sign off and post a few pictures. We do have another ultrasound scheduled for Feb. 6th I think. More news later!
