Fellowship with Friends

We really enjoyed having Danny, Lisa, Annie and Daniel here tonight
for super. The kids always have a blast with Danny and Lisa and
really enjoyed Daniel and Annie too. In fact Daniel taught the kids
some picture taking skills!

Teacher

The mistake was really mine. When Daniel stuck his tongue out I
should have said "Oh isn't he cute" but instead I blurted "Don't do
that". Baruch didn't even seem to be paying attention when all this
occured but the next moment . . .

This Weeks Memory Verse

Romans 12:1  Therefore I urge you brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

Abram

Abram keeps me hoppin'. He goes goes goes all day. The other day we
were all driving down the road and he recognized the turn for t-ball
(that was six weeks ago). He asked "we goin t-ball mom?" This
morning he was peeping over the window sill and calling and waving
goodbye to Drew. As soon as the car went around the corner he
taunted Baruch "you can't wave to papa he's already gone." Now when
I say "I love you Abram" he says "I know you do". He used to say "I
love Chloe." He constantly moves, messes and explores.

Chloe is Three Months Old

Time flies faster and faster. I cannot believe Chloe is three months
old already. She is such a sweet content baby. A smile lights her
face every time anyone looks at her. She eats about every two hours
still but sleeps great. About every third night she only sleeps two
4 hour spurts, otherwise she sleeps 6 to 8!

Baruch Making a Popcorn String

Abi's Popcorn String

Popcorn Strings and Lunch

I served sausage, rice/vegetables and popcorn for lunch today, using
the sausage grease to pop the corn. Mary Elisabeth wanted to string
her popcorn. Her great idea spread and a few others strung popcorn
too. Abi's string included some sausage. They ate lunch right off
their strings!

Our New Routine

Today was our first day of Drew's newly instigated morning routine!  The day looks like this.  6:00 AM Drew wakes and reads Bible.  7:00 Drew fixes breakfast while getting ready for work.  Pour the pancakes - shave.  Flip them - shave.  Put them on the plate - shave.  Pour the next batch - get dressed.  Flip - put on socks - Flip - put on shoes etc.  He is willing to do all of this to allow me to sleep in!  Chloe is back to sleeping a couple 3 or 4 hour stints instead of the 6 she was doing.  7:30 I get up and we all eat breakfast while Drew encourages us in the LORD.  7:45 Drew leaves for work.  This morning He encouraged only a few of us as several slept in.  Hopefully over the next few weeks we can work into getting to bed earlier so we can all be at the table by 7:30.  I was so encouraged as Drew charged us that just like a boxer gets geared up before he goes into the ring we need to be gearing up with the word of God before we go into our day.  This weeks memory verse is Romans 11:34-36
For who has known the mind of the LORD or who bacame His counselor?  Or who has first given to Him that it might be paid back to Him again?  For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.  To Him be the glory forever.  Amen.

Reunion

We had a fabulous time at the Lake! It was great to see Mama, the
Aunts and Uncles and a few cousins. We really missed the Matt and
Michelle and the boys and the David and Renee clan :-(. The kids had
an absolute blast swimming and boating. Having all the Aunts to help
with Chloe made for a nice break for me. The lake was so peaceful and
the weather beautiful. We did so much I can hardly beginning telling
about it all so I have decided to blog the highlights with pictures.
Find below a small selection of the 117 pictures taken on our trip!
