The Beginning of a Doll House

I was inspired by my friend Tonya to make a dollhouse with the girls.  She headed me to a great blog she ran across.  We caught the vision and are looking forward to exercising our imaginations!

We started with two bookshelves we cleared off and brought down from the attic.

We hope to eventually put them together.

The girls decided Abi will decorate one half of the house and . . .

Mary the other half.

Jacob even cleared off the shelf in his room.

Chloe's excited too!

I manned the jigsaw to fashion an opening for the stairs that will come up in the parlor.

The air was thick with creativity as the girls made wallpaper.

Mary made some for the parlor

Abi worked on wallpaper for the kitchen.

I look forward to posting more soon on our dollhouse journey!
