Pondering and Ramblings

Time is racing by! I have been enjoying mothering more than ever these days. I contribute that to a greater understanding of Philippians 2 which has been on my heart recently. When Mary was first born I was so excited to be a mother but my excitment soon waned as she encrouched on MY time, space and freedom. Mind you Mary was a particularily colicy little bundle of red screaming flesh which I could use as an out, but the fact is I didn't always enjoy my role. Now although the demands on my time are far greater by the grace of God I see my selfish ways in light of Christ's sufferings and am REALLY enjoying giving of myself for the sake of these blessings in training. Here is some of what has been keeping us so busy?
* Visits from Great Grandma!
* Daily Chores
* Hiking
* Making Applesauce for the first time
* Some School too I guess :-)
* INDIANS
Ever since we watched a documentary on the life of Sacagawea and her adventures with Lewis and Clark Abigail has walked, talked, eaten, talked, played, read, talked, dreamed and talked, did I mention she likes to talk. . . INDIANS. We have launched into a new way of life around here! Monday we made Indian dresses. See if you can find the flickr picture of Abigail in her dress, telling Grandma all about, you guessed it, INDIANS!
