Blizzard Conditions
Everyone was excited to see the blizzard conditions around 3 PM Saturday. Drew and the oldest three headed out seeking adventure.
Our "New" Couch
We are the proud owners of some "new furniture". Our 15 to 20 year old (new to us) couch was purchased this evening after responding to an add in the paper the kids deliver. Everyone is very excited. I have been playing it up big saying no more jumping on the furniture. We had a talk about the value of money and how the new couch cost one hundred dollars of the Lords money and we need to take good care of His possessions. After Abigail changed into her pajamas she came in the living room and did a double take saying "I thought the couch was an angel for a minute."

When we were all done at the hotel we went out to a "real" restaurant. Let me clarify here that we have only sat down in a restaurant where a waitress takes your order a handful of times if that. Everyone was thrilled to be eating in such an establishment. While we were waiting for our table we looked at a menu. All the kid's ended up ordering the chicken fingers and french fries. Don't worry the adults did branch out a bit. All in all everyone enjoyed the Olive Garden experience!

Aunt Dawnie sent the coolest gifts for everyone. Abigail got a tea set you painted, then baked in the oven to set the paint. She was so kind, letting Mary, Jacob and I do most if not all of the painting.

Baruch loves cars, trucks, trailers, bailers, ANYTHING with wheels so we felt fairly safe that he would like a tricycle for his birthday. Success! He loves it.
